The Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm (shortened TH Nürnberg; English name Nuremberg Institute of Technology Georg Simon Ohm) is a public Technische Hochschule in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. With its 12,200 students and 1,800 faculty members, it's the second biggest Technische Hochschule in Bavaria. The university got its name in honor of Georg Simon Ohm who was a professor and headmaster of the predecessor of the Hochschule, the Polytechnische Schule, between 1839 and 1849. Siemens is still the largest industrial employer in the Nuremberg region but a good third of German market research agencies are also located in the city. The Nuremberg International Toy Fair is the largest of its kind in the world. The city also hosts several specialist hi-tech fairs every year, attracting experts from every corner of the globe. The President, Prof. Dr. Michael BRAUN visited Taiwan Tech on May 10, 2018 and was welcomed by Taiwan Tech’s Vice President, Prof. Liu Dai-Yang, and the Dean of Office of International Affairs, Prof. Wang Meng-Jiy. The President then visited the 3D Printing Center, Industry 4.0 Center, and Taiwan Building Technology Center of Taiwan Tech.
