International Symposium on Life-Cycle Civil Engineering Maintenance and Management
This symposium was mainly concerning the assessment, techniques and applications on life-cycle performance. In addition to understanding the worldwide up-to-date research and development of life-cycle performance evaluation, maintenance, monitoring and management on structures, the experience of typhoon Morakot last summer in Taiwan was also discussed for domestic structures on life-cycle performance and evaluation. Besides, this issue already successfully got attention by life-cycle related government authorities and companies to respect for the life-cycle engineering maintenance and management.
Participants were quite interested in the topics.
