The Hans Sauer Award:The EU research project RE4 was honored with the Hans Sauer Award 2020 – DESIGNING CIRCULARITY IN THE BUILD ENVIRONMENT in the category Tools | Materials | Methods. The jury acknowledged the project for its consistent approach of demonstrating solutions for the direct reuse of components, using building materials that are particularly suitable for this.

From 4 March to 8 March 2019, a high-ranking delegation of the HAWTech institutions' senior management came for a week-long visit to Taiwan, touring all six TAItech member universities and holding discussions on the future cooperation between the two alliances.
On Dec. 10, 2018, Director Chen of TBTC and Director Mosalam of PEER has signed the MOU at UC Berkeley campus looking forward through various activities including conducting joint research programs, exchanging students and faculty members, and co-organizing international events to establishing a joint research center in the near future.
The honorary president of Taiwan Green Collar Association, Mr. Chung-Zen Chen, and the deputy director of Vietnam National Institute of Architecture (VIAr), Prof. Pham Thuy Loan, as well as the other five guests from VIAr visited the intelligent green buildings and equipment in Taiwan Tech on November 4th, 2018.
Riga Technical University (RTU), founded in 1862, is Latvia’s oldest and largest university of technology and an NTUST partner university since 2012. The RTU-NTUST cooperation started with a visit of former president Chen Shi-Shuenn to Latvia in 2012, where he signed an MOU that established the partnership between the two institutions.

In our contemporary high-level society, civil engineering structures are expected to be designed to meet long-term requirements related to structural safety, robustness, serviceability, durability and sustainability. Life-cycle civil engineering provides the knowledge and tools to accommodate for these requirements and relates to the design, inspection, monitoring, assessment, maintenance and rehabilitation of structures and infrastructures taking into account their lifetime perspective. Shandong Jianzhu University is an engineering-based multidisciplinary university specialized in civil construction, also covering engineering, science, management, literature, arts, law and agriculture. The new campus is located in emerging east Jinan, the City of Spring with a time-honored cultural history and beautiful natural landscape, in Shandong province, adjacent to the East Jingshi Road in the south, the Century Avenue in the north, the Jinan Administration Approval Service Center and Jinan Olympic Sports Center, boasting its superior geographical location and convenient traffic.
